To help you continue on your educational path, the LHHS PTSA is proud to offer several scholarship programs.

PTSA Scholarship 2023-2024

PTSA Service Scholarship

 

Requirements:
1. Service to LHHS and community
2. PTSA membership
3. Minimum GPA 3.0

Character Expectation:
1. Passion to help others
2. Selflesss

PTSA Creative Student Scholarship​​

​​​

Requirements:
1. Submission of one or more original, completed pieces of work in the fields of music, drama, art, photography, film, or creative writing.
2. PTSA Membership
3. Essay: What does it mean to you to be an artist? (Maximum 300 words)

PTSA Hawk Inspiration Scholarship

 

Requirements:
1. Has overcome an obstacle and/or served as an example for others at LHHS.
2. PTSA membership
3. Minimum 3.0 GPA

Character Expectation:
1. Passion to inspire others
2. Works hard to set a positive example for others

• Essay Question: What lasting impact have you made here at LHHS? (Maximum 300 words)

PTSA Occupational Award Scholarship

​

Requirements:
1. The successful candidate would be an exceptionally motivated senior with a vision for his/her future, who upon graduation, will pursue his/her occupation through one of the following:
a. Trade school (auto, technology, art institute, culinary arts, cosmetology, computer science, technical institute, fashion design etc.)
b. Community college
2. PTSA membership
3. Minimum GPA 3.0

PTSA Senior of the Year Scholarship​

​

Requirements:
1. GPA 3.5 or above
2. Service to LHHS and Community
3. Participation in school extra curricular activities and/or athletics
4. Leadership in clubs, student government, community etc.
5. Membership in PTSA
6. Essay “How I made a difference at LHHS” (Maximum 300 words)

PTSA Working Student Scholarship

​​

Requirements:
1. GPA 2.5 or above
2. PTSA Membership
3. Employed 15+ hours per week during entire senior year
4. Plan on continuing education after high school in college or trade school.
5. Essay: What are your plans for next year and five years from now? (Maximum 300 words)​

All scholarships require current membership, so if you’re not yet a member but are interested in applying for these opportunities, be sure to join Laguna Hills High School PTSA !
