LHHS PTSA is offering scholarship opportunities to graduating Seniors who are LHHS PTSA members. Be sure to join LHHS PTSA to be eligible to apply.

Scholarships
Committee
Join the Scholarship Committee for the 2025 Spring Cycle and help shape the future of deserving students. Your time and talent can make a lasting impact!
Volunteers should be LHHS PTSA members, not a Senior parent and able to participate in 1-2 days of in person interviews in addition to 1-2 meetings for selecting winners.

PTSA Creative Student Scholarship
Requirements:
1. Submission of one or more original, completed pieces of work in the fields of music, drama, art, photography, film, or creative writing.
2. PTSA Membership

Please complete each essay question with as much detail as possible. Long answers should be in paragraph/essay form.

PTSA Occupational Award Scholarship
Requirements:
1. The successful candidate would be an exceptionally motivated senior with a vision for his/her future, who upon graduation, will pursue his/her occupation through one of the following:
a. Trade school (auto, technology, art institute, culinary arts, cosmetology, computer science, technical institute, fashion design etc.)
b. Community college

PTSA Senior of the Year Scholarship
Requirements:
1. GPA 3.5 or above
2. Service to LHHS and Community
3. Participation in school or community athletics
4. Leadership in clubs, student government, community etc.
5. Membership in PTSA

6. Essay “How I made a difference at LHHS and in my community”
7. Signatures of two supporting teachers
PTSA Working Student Scholarship
Requirements:
1. GPA 2.5 or above
2. PTSA Membership

3. Employed 15+ hours per week during entire senior year
4. Plan on continuing education after high school in college or trade school.
5. Essay “What I want to do with my Future”
All scholarships require current membership, so if you’re not yet a member but are interested in applying for these opportunities, be sure to join Laguna Hills High School PTSA !
